Céline Dion returns to Vegas with new show!

January 25, 2017

The highly admired singer Céline Dion is back in Las Vegas! She performed at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Tuesday night.

Céline Dion took the stage at Caesars Palace on Tuesday, for her first show of the year. She was wearing a stunning outfit fitting for the first appearance of 2017!

Dion recently had a small makeover when she went ultra-blonde, and showed off her new looks in a beautiful beige gown which sparkled on the stage. The Colosseum seats 4,000 people and Dion entertained the crowd with popular hits like “Because You Loved Me”.

Her residency in Las Vegas started back in 2002 when she signed a deal with Caesars Palace to perform there for three years. She did take some years off to record a new album and go on tour, but returned in 2011 for a new three year period. It stipulated that the singer had to do 70 shows each year at the casino.

The health condition of Dion’s husband, René Angélil, is getting worse, but this did not stop the singer from returning to Las Vegas in August 2015. She is now back to performing regular shows at The Colosseum at Caesars. If you drop by the casino you might get to see Dion sing some of her hits, like “The Power Of Love”, “All By Myself”, or the song we all know from Titanic – “My Heart Will Go On”.
